Following the Prime Ministers announcement on 22nd February regarding the Government's roadmap out of lockdown, Ascot is currently formulating plans for the return of spectators to racedays. We will provide a further update as early as possible in April when the start of step two is confirmed. If you would like to be notified of any developments, please complete your details below.
This two-day meeting is always an exciting affair, with seven competitive races taking place each day. The Friday gets underway with three potentially informative two-year-old races. Last year, one of these races saw Enable's half-brother Derab take his racecourse debut, finishing second to La Barrosa in the ME2 Club EBF Future Stayers’ Maiden Stakes.
Saturday's highlight is the £80,000 Lavazza Handicap Stakes, which in 2020 saw 7-2 favourite Shandoz win by three-quarters of a length.
