Each Enclosure at Royal Ascot has its own individual character, and all put you at the heart of the racing action. Wherever you are, there will be delicious food and drink, from world-class Fine Dining and hospitality to many different on-the-go options around the Racecourse.

Enjoy close-up views of the Royal Procession as it journeys past the stylish lawns of the Windsor Enclosure. This is the enclosure the horses past first on their way down the home straight when racing begins.

It is here that the roar of the crowd starts in earnest, creating an unforgettable atmosphere.

Where to go The Windsor Enclosure

The atmosphere in the Windsor Enclosure is always vibrant with guests enjoying betting facilities, artisan food stalls, Champagne and Pimm’s bars, and picnics on the lawn.

From Thursday onwards, live music plays into the early evening and the whole day is often action-packed. 

Picnics and furniture are also available in the Windsor Enclosure. 

A charge will be made for children aged 10-17 years who wish to attend Royal Ascot in the Windsor Enclosure.  This is £10 per child and all proceeds from children's tickets will go to Ascot's Annual Charitable Giving. These tickets cannot be purchased in advance, they are to be obtained from the relevant Ticket Office on the day, when the adult will need to accompany the child or children and show their own ticket as proof of attendance.   Identification maybe requested to verify the child's age.

Food and Drink

The Windsor Enclosure will offer extensive food and drink options, with a mixture of street food, seated dining and picnics. 

Picnics may be brought to The Windsor Enclosure and must be in a picnic hamper or cool bag/box. Picnics must be brought in at the time of entry to the enclosure and not on re-entry. If you are coming with a large group and your picnic and Sparkling Wine or Champagne is divided among your hampers.

Live Music

Situated inside a 40-metre tent allowing plenty of space to get your groove on. Listen to live music in the Takeover Target tent after a day of racing whilst enjoying a glass or two of Champagne, Pimm’s, spirits or even wines, beers, ciders and soft drinks. Plenty of picnic bench seating available.

Other bars such as the Scenic Blast and Danedream Champagne Bar host areas to socialise with various music throughout the day.
