Royal Ascot Food and Drink

Each Enclosure at Royal Ascot hosts a number of varied food and drink options, from Fine Dining to picnics and from gourmet street food to seafood platters. 

In the Royal Enclosure, the Norfolk Restaurant and the Windsor Greys Restaurant remain available to pre-book, as well as the 1768 Grill and Tea Rooms in the Queen Anne Enclosure featuring Afternoon Tea. 

The new Village Enclosure hosts Smokehouse by Hotbox, a pre-bookable street food outlet ideal for a summer's day at the Royal meeting. 

Picnics and Afternoon Tea sitting are also availble to secure before you arrive at Ascot to enhance your experience futher.

Dining in the Royal Enclosure is a truly unique occasion in the British summer and limited options are still available to pre-book.

The popular Norfolk Restaurant and Windsor Greys Restaurant have limited tables available on the Tuesday and Wednesday.

The Queen Anne Enclosure

The popular Queen Anne Enclosure has introduced a number of new food and drink options for Royal Ascot 2017. 

Clebrated chef James Tanner hosts the new Queen Anne Kitchen  serving some of his signature dishes including his steak burger and the 1768 Grill and Tea Rooms is now pre-bookable for sittings throughout the day.

The Village Enclosure New for 2017

The Village Enclosure will bring a new flavour to Royal Ascot featuring boutique restaurants alongside pop-up and alfresco dining choices offered by key names from London's acclaimed street food scene. 

Smokehouse by Hotbox  is pre-bookable and will feature some of the East End's finest street food dishes.

Each Enclosure at Royal Ascot has their own picnic options which can be pre-booked up to five days before your selected day at the Royal meeting. 

Note: Guests in the Windsor Enclosure are allowed to bring their own picnic. Find out more about our picnic policy here. 


Afternoon Tea

The origins of Afternoon Tea in Britain can be traced back to the early 19th Century and is a custom held dear at Royal Ascot. 

Guests in the Royal Enclosure and Queen Anne Enclosure can pre-book their Afternoon Tea sitting.
