Royal Ascot 2015 New
Royal Ascot is Britain’s most valuable race meeting, attracting many of the world’s finest racehorses to compete for more than £5.5milllion in prize money. Our eighteen Group races, eight of them in Group One, have made legends of the finest thoroughbreds. Black Caviar, Frankel, Yeats – all are Royal Ascot winners turned household names.
In 2013, The Queen watched her horse, Estimate, triumph in the Gold Cup. A dedicated racehorse owner, she has attended every Royal Meeting during her reign and the Royal Procession is always an iconic moment to herald the start of every raceday.
Anticipated and revered, these five days are made for socialising. Long seen as a spectacle of fashion and style, they are referenced the world over. Each year the meeting is broadcast to audiences around the globe, yet to experience it in person is something altogether more special.
There are three enclosures to choose from, each with its own individual
character, and all put you at the heart of the racing action.
Enjoy close-up views of the Royal Procession as it proceeds past the stylish lawns of the Silver Ring. Our most vibrant enclosure, it is here where the roar of the crowd begins in earnest, as the horses race past this enclosure first on their way down the Final Straight.More Info
On the lawns and terraces of the Grandstand, you can enjoy first-rate views of the day’s six races, joining the jubilant crowds as they cheer each winner home. Here you will be at the heart of the day’s activity. Close to the runners and riders in the Pre-Parade and Parade Ring, and front row as the Royal Procession passes by the Grandstand lawns.More Info
The Royal Enclosure is widely regarded as the historic heart of Royal Ascot. Originally set aside for the running of the first Gold Cup in 1807, it was a space exclusively reserved for the family, guests and Household of King George III and to this day membership continues to be by invitation only.More Info
