24th March 2017

18-24 year olds can enjoy half price entry to the Queen Anne or Windsor Enclosures at Royal Ascot on Tuesday 20th and Wednesday 21st June 2017, as part of the STAR Card scheme.

Launched in 2011 and free of charge to all young people aged 18 to 24, the STAR card entitles holders to enjoy substantial discounts on racing at the famous Berkshire racecourse throughout the year.  With half price entry to most Ascot racedays, including the first two days of Royal Ascot and FREE entry to QIPCO British Champions Day 2017, the STAR card allows young racegoers to enjoy great racing at a great price.

STAR card holders can also enjoy a King Edward VII Enclosure ticket, drink and racecard for just £10 to Ascot’s May Racenight on 12th May.  Ascot’s only evening meeting consists of six competitive races, great entertainment and live music.  It’s the perfect opportunity to get together with friends for a fun night out.

Ashley Morton-Hunte, Corporate & Racing Communications Manager at Ascot, said:

“The STAR card offers 18 to 24 year olds generous discounts at a time when many are studying or training.  We hope it enables young racing enthusiasts to continue to enjoy all that Ascot has to offer and encourages new racegoers to come along and see just how much fun a day at the races can be.”
