Remaining Availability with Six Weeks until Royal Ascot


With six weeks to go until the opening of the 2017 Royal Meeting, racegoers who haven’t yet booked are encouraged to do so as early as possible to secure their restaurant or Enclosure and day of choice.

FINE DINING

Fine Dining within the Royal Enclosure has now sold out almost entirely with only limited availability remaining in The Green Yard on Tuesday , Wednesday and Saturday and The Wyndham on Saturday. Both restaurants are located within the picturesque Royal Enclosure Gardens with views overlooking the Pre-Parade Ring.

For those still seeking to watch the spectacle of Royal Ascot from the upper echelons of the Grandstand, a small number of covers are remaining for On5 on all days except Thursday. Spearheaded by widely acclaimed British chef, Phil Howard, On5 is Ascot’s award-winning restaurant located on the fifth floor of the Grandstand within the Queen Anne Enclosure with sweeping views over the racecourse and Windsor Great Park.

Alternative restaurants with remaining availability in the Queen Anne Enclosure include Sandringham and Carriages on Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday; The Lawn Club on all days except Thursday, the Old Paddock on Tuesday and the Royal Ascot Pavilion on Thursday.

The Gold Cup stands proudly as the showpiece event of Royal Ascot week and is the world’s premier race for horses that are specialists over long distances. Modern tradition has scheduled the race for the middle day (Thursday) of the meeting, when fashion and glamour that is so synonymous with the Royal Meeting reaches its zenith. The Royal Ascot Pavilion, The Restaurant in the Village and The Villiers Club in the Village are the only hospitality options with limited availability remaining for this day. New for 2017, the Village Enclosure will this year house The Restaurant in the Village and The Villiers Club in the Village.

TICKETS

The Village and Windsor Enclosures have now sold out on Saturday 24th June with limited availability remaining on Thursday 22nd and Friday 23rd. Racegoers still planning to attend on Saturday are encouraged to book as early as possible within the Queen Anne Enclosure.

In terms of the rest of the week, The Queen Anne Enclosure is approaching sell out on Thursday 22nd June, whilst the Royal Enclosure is also close to capacity on Friday 23rd June. Early booking is recommended.

Racegoers looking for something a little bit special may be interested in upgrading to include either the Furlong Club, Silks Lawn or new for 2017, the Gazebos in the Village in their ticket.

The Furlong Club is an exclusive marquee with elevated views over the final Furlong from a private decking area. It has its own bar and restaurant serving tapas and sharing plates. Prices start from £191 including a Queen Anne Enclosure ticket. It has now sold out on Thursday 22nd June but has limited availability on other days.

The Silks Lawn is a set of gazebos overlooking the final furlong with their own private viewing lawns within the Queen Anne Enclosure hosting up to 50 people each. Prices start from £2,600.

New for 2017, the Gazebos in the Village are a set of gazebos on the inside of the track with their own private picket fenced gardens and the option for guests to bring their own picnics. Each gazebo hosts up to 16 people. Prices start from £1000.
