Frequently Asked Questions

How can I book a box for Royal Ascot?

How can I book a box for racedays outside of Royal Ascot week?

Is there a balcony?

All boxes have a private balcony. We also have several boxes at either end of the Grandstand that have an additional side terrace.

How many people can a private box accommodate?

We have a range of private facilities that can host between 10 - 80 guests.

The standard single box will accommodate 12 for formal dining or 18 for a buffet. Double boxes will accommodate 24 for formal dining or 36 for a buffet. The Level 6 boxes are slightly smaller, accommodating 10 for formal dining or 14 for a buffet.

There are four double boxes on Level 6 that seat 20 people or can accommodate up to 28 for a buffet. All the Level 6 boxes have a narrow balcony with no external seating.

We also have one quad box on Level 3 that accommodates 40 seated and up to 70 for a buffet, plus one 'Long Box' on Level 2 opposite the one furlong marker, created by combining six individual boxes into one superb room. It can seat up to 80 for formal dining or accommodate up to 108 for a buffet.

The Long Box can also be split into two smaller 'triple' boxes by use of a substantial folding wall, creating two spacious triple boxes, both of which can seat up to 40 for formal dining or accommodate a maximum of 54 for a buffet.

Can I bring my own food?

How do I make or change my catering order?

Are children allowed in the boxes?

Children aged 17 years and under are allowed into the racecourse free of charge but they will count towards the overall occupancy in the box. Children's menus are available for all racedays.

Are there any other fine dining packages available?

Are there facilities for those with access requirements?

Ascot Racecourse provides an accessible environment for all our racegoers, including older people and those people with disabilities. The Access for All policy includes information about the provision of disabled parking spaces and wheelchair hire.

We are happy to make special arrangements and to assist with any queries, both in advance and on the day of the race meeting. Please contact the Access Officer on +44 (0)844 346 3000.

Can I purchase souvenirs at Ascot?

There is an Ascot shop at the racecourse, located adjacent to the Parade Ring with a wide range of goods.

Where do I park?

Car park labels are included with all box bookings, with one label for every two guests. The majority of parking for box guests will be in Car Park 3 or Car Park 5.

Additional labels may be purchased in advance by calling +44 (0)844 346 3000.
