Dining & Refreshments

For both the Flat and the Jumps season (excluding Royal Ascot) we would like to invite six owners per runner to take advantage of our complimentary lunch. Trainers can gain access with their metal NTF badge and are permitted to bring one guest.

Lunch must be booked in advance by completing the form sent by Weatherbys, completing this form, or emailing [email protected] 

Unfortunately we cannot take dining bookings on the day of racing. Please ensure lunch is booked by 4pm the day before racing and make us aware of any children who will be attending the lunch.

Although every effort will be made to accommodate owners, there is limited availability and tables are on a first come, first served basis.

We are pleased to be a winner in the Quality Café/Restaurant category in the 2018 RCA Excellence Accolades, supported by Visit England.

Jumps Season Lunch

For the Jumps season you can enjoy lunch in the Old Paddock Restaurant and connected Owners’ & Trainers’ Dining Room. A table will be allocated on arrival and be yours to use throughout the afternoon. A hot carvery is served between 11.30am – 2.30pm and includes; starter, choice of main course and dessert. Afternoon Tea will then be served around 3 pm.

Flat Season Lunch

Situated in our dining rooms either side of the Owners’ & Trainers’ Bar, a complimentary three-course rolling buffet lunch and afternoon tea is served on a raceday for owners and trainers with declared runners. Lunch includes a half bottle of complimentary wine per person and is served from 12.00pm – 3.30pm. Tables are allocated on arrival and we ask if they can be vacated once you have dined.

Owners Bar

Situated above the saddling boxes in the Pre-Parade Ring, this bar is reserved exclusively for owners and all licensed trainers.
Serving light refreshments throughout the afternoon, the bar will remain open for one hour after the last race. Tables cannot be reserved.


Owners and trainers with a runner can view the racing from our two dedicated viewing areas.  One is located underneath the Royal Box, giving access from the Parade Ring. The other is to the left of the Horsewalk. Admittance to the viewing area is with an Owner/Trainer badge or NTF metal badge.

175 stables are located in a secure yard, close to the accommodation and with ample room for parking.  Paper or shavings are available, though preferred bedding material cannot be guaranteed.

Gallops & Horseboxes


Subject to ground conditions, gallops are available between 8am and 8.30am each morning.  Please book in with the Stable Manager ahead of time.


Horsebox entry to the stables is next to Car Park 2.  Please follow signs on Ascot High Street to Car Park 2 and look for the "Stables" sign.

Hostel Accommodation

125 single beds are available in 42 rooms, with shared bathrooms and separate male and female corridors.  Bedrooms sleep up to three people.

The hostel has a large dining room, lounge area and bar.  Accommodation must be booked in advance.
