Dining & Refreshments

Owners Dining Room

Jumps Season

We offer the opportunity for six owners per runner, plus the trainer and a guest to take advantage of our complimentary hot carvery lunch. This includes a starter, choice of main course and dessert. We also provide complimentary afternoon tea. Timings for lunch are from 11.30 am to 2.30 pm.

As a new initiative for the 2016/2017 Jumps season, owners are now offered a table for the day in the dining rooms and these will be allocated on arrival. Each person dining will be issued with a lunch ticket and Old Paddock Restaurant badge. This is all served in the Old Paddock Restaurant and the connected Owners & Trainers Dining Room, which is located before you reach the Owners & Trainers Bar.

Lunch must be booked in advance by either completing the form sent by Weatherbys or by contacting Kirsty Sargeant, [email protected]. Please note that we cannot take dining bookings on the day of racing. Please ensure lunch is booked by 4 pm the day before racing. Please also make us aware of any children who will be attending the lunch.

 

Flat Season

Situated above the saddling boxes in the Pre-Parade Ring, a complimentary three-course rolling buffet lunch and afternoon tea is served on raceday for owners and trainers with declared runners.

To continue offering a complimentary lunch with the quality of food that owners are used to and to be able to manage the dining room efficiently, we will be operating a ticket system for lunch during the Flat season. (Excludes Royal Ascot).

Owners of each runner will be entitled to six lunch tickets and we are delighted to announce that lunch shall now include a half bottle of complimentary wine per person.

Lunch will be issued to those with lunch tickets and these must be requested by 4pm the day before the meeting

Trainers can gain access with their metal NTF badge and are permitted to bring one guest.

Although every effort will be made to accommodate owners in this facility, please note there is limited availability and tables are on a first come, first served basis.

 

Owners Bar

Situated above the saddling boxes in the Pre-Parade Ring, this bar is reserved exclusively for owners and all licensed trainers.

Serving light refreshments throughout the afternoon, the bar will remain open for one hour after the last race. Tables cannot be reserved.

Viewing

Owners and trainers with runners have two dedicated viewing areas on Concourse Level, accessible only with Owner/Trainer badges.

The main viewing area on Concourse Level is located to the west of the Iron Stand, beneath the Royal Box, and is easily accessible from the Parade Ring.

The second dedicated viewing area is located to the west of the Horsewalk, behind the stable lads stand, and is accessible via the Horsewalk.

Stabling & Gallops

Stabling

175 stables are located in a secure yard, close to the accommodation and with ample room for parking.  Paper or shavings are available, though preferred bedding material cannot be guaranteed.

Gallops

Subject to ground conditions, gallops are available between 7am and 8am each morning.  Please book in with the Stable Manager ahead of time.

Horseboxes

Horsebox entry to the stables is next to Car Park 2.  Please follow signs on Ascot High Street to Car Park 2 and look for the "Stables" sign.

Stable Employees Accommodation

Hostel Accommodation

125 single beds are available in 42 rooms, with shared bathrooms and separate male and female corridors.  Bedrooms sleep up to three people.

The hostel has a large dining room, lounge area and bar.  Accommodation must be booked in advance.

ASCOT RACEDAYS

BADGE ALLOCATION


ROA members

ROA members are entitled to two complimentary King Edward VII tickets on racedays throughout the year. Please note that Royal Ascot, QIPCO British Champions Day, King George Day & Dubai Duty Free Shergar Cup are exempt from this scheme.

TBA Members:

A TBA member with a runner is entitled to two O & T badges on all racedays. Please collect these from the O & T desk with your swipe card. Please contact Anette Bell at the TBA (01638 661321) for Royal Ascot and QIPCO British Champions Day requests.

Badge Allocation

A single owner, partnership, or syndicate with a runner declared at the overnight stage, will be entitled to a total of six complimentary Owner/Trainer badges.

Extra Badges

In addition, extra badges may be purchased at a reduced rate, but numbers need to be agreed in advance by calling the Racing Department on +44 (0)1344 878 529. They can be collected on the day from the Owners and Trainers entrance. There is a limit to the number of badges available at the reduced price.

Pass Card System

Please remember to bring your swipe card for the Pass card system or any form of identification in order to obtain your badges.

Car Parking

Owners are entitled to free car parking in the Owners' Car Park situated in Car Park 2. No labels are required. One car parking space will be allocated to single/joint owners in the Owners' Car Park and two spaces will be allocated to a partnership or syndicate.

Helicopter Facilities

A helicopter landing facility is available close to the racecourse. Please telephone Helicopter & Aviation Services Ltd on +44(0)1427 718 800 for further details.

PARKING AND TRAVEL


Owners are entitled to free car parking in the Owners' Car Park situated in Car Park 2. No labels will be required.

One car parking space will be allocated to single/joint owners in the Owners' Car Park and two spaces will be allocated to a partnership or syndicate.

Trainers and Jockeys are entitled to one free car parking space in the Trainers' & Jockeys' area in Car Park 2. NTF & PJA car park badges allow access.

Car parks open at 9.30am
Car parks close at 9:00pm

DISABLED PARKING 

Forward parking for disabled badge holders can be arranged in Car Park 2, for owners and trainers with runners.
