The October Raceday, traditionally Ascot's third annual dedicated family day of the year, will be taking place behind closed doors this year due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. View the full statement here.

Kickstarting the Jumps season, the racecourse will host a mix of eight thrilling hurdle and steeplechase races throughout the afternoon which will be available to watch live from the comfort of your home. Explore below to find race times, Declarations, the Going and where to watch.

The highlight on the card is the £80,000 Sodexo Gold Cup, where Commanche Red, Black Corton, Regal Encore and 2017 King George VI Chase winner Might Bite are all declared. Another race to look forward to is the Handicap Chase, where Capeland and Ibleo head the betting.

While we have sadly been unable to welcome racegoers to all 2020 family racedays, we have created activities to bring the life and magic of Ascot to racing fans of all ages at home, and this raceday is no different. Discover Halloween themed kids activities, recipes and a pumpkin carving competition below. Get creative and share your creations with us on social media.

We hope to welcome racegoers back to Ascot soon. In the meantime, we hope you will join us in celebrating the occasion away from the track.
