Ascot Racecourse is delighted to announce that it has been accredited with the ‘We’re Good To Go’ industry standard from Visit Britain.

‘We’re Good To Go’ is the UK’s official mark recognising those businesses across the hospitality and tourism sector that have demonstrated their adherence to the respective Government and Public Health guidance concerning COVID-19.

Developed by Visit England, in partnership with the respective tourist organisations of Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland and with input from over 40 industry bodies, the scheme ensures a collective approach to safeguarding public health and safety and minimising the spread of COVID-19, providing a recognised stamp of confidence for accredited businesses.

The accreditation means that guests visiting Ascot can be assured that the racecourse is fully compliant with all the latest guidelines. Having carried out a detailed COVID-19 Risk Assessment, Ascot has implemented all necessary processes and protocols to ensure the highest standards of sanitisation, track and trace, and facilitate social distancing.

Ascot is proud to hold the ‘We’re Good To Go’ accreditation and trust that the green tick will serve as a further mark of confidence for customers so that they can feel safe, comfortable and confident in the enjoyment of their event experience. This will also apply to racegoers as and when spectators are permitted back at sporting events.

Event organisers and guests are reassured that all precautionary measures taken at Ascot thus far will be regularly reviewed in accordance with Government advice. A system has been set up to ensure that businesses awarded with the ‘We’re Good To Go’ standard are notified should any changes to the official guidance arise, while random spot-checks will be carried out to ensure that accredited organisations remain compliant.

The health and wellbeing of all visitors to Ascot is the utmost priority. With an abundance of flexible space in which to host a vast array of business and social occasions and, having worked tirelessly to ensure that the racecourse’s facilities are safe to use, the Ascot team is committed to providing the perfect environment for any event.
