The world’s premier international jockeys’ competition, the Dubai Duty Free Shergar Cup, returns to Ascot Racecourse on Saturday 10th August 2019.

A post-racing, fully live headline concert from Jessie J, after party with DJ set by Tinie Tempah and performance from Go West will follow the action-packed day of Flat team racing.

Now in its 19th year, the Dubai Duty Free Shergar Cup is one of Ascot’s most loved race meetings. Racegoers turn out in their tens of thousands for this unique event where three top riders in each of four teams – Great Britain & Ireland, Europe, Rest of the World and The Girls – battle against each other in a thrilling six-race showdown.

Away from the track, racing will be followed by a live music concert and fairground rides. Ahead of the summer event, Jessie J said:

“I’m excited to be heading to Ascot Racecourse to perform a fully-live headline concert in August.”

Tine Tempah & DJ Charlesy, said:

“We are looking forward to playing at Ascot for the first time this summer and look forward to bringing racegoers an after party to remember!”

Go West added:

“We are looking forward to performing at the Dubai Duty Free Shergar Cup, it is great to be going back to Ascot – we love a day at the races!”

Racegoers in the King Edward VII Enclosure and the Winning Post Enclosure, located at the west end of the Grandstand’s ground floor, will have a short priority access period to the concert allowing them to secure their preferred spot following the racing.

There will be complimentary fairground rides on the Bandstand Lawns, as well as Champagne and cocktail bars and a wide range of restaurants to enjoy before the music kicks off.

Queen Anne Enclosure tickets start from £32 in advance. Winning Post Enclosure and King Edward VII Enclosure tickets start from £50 and £69 in advance respectively. Children under 18 gain free entry at Ascot Racedays when accompanied by a paying adult.
