On Friday 8 September, Ascot hosted staff and volunteers from the Injured Jockey Fund; accompanied by some of their trustees and Vice Patrons Clare Balding and Lady Oaksey.

The group enjoyed a behind the scenes tour of the racecourse, appropriately led by David Crosse, an IJF jockey who hosts Ascot’s Ambassador Programme which provides educational talks to fine dining guests.

We are delighted to report that collections from guests, in addition to Ascot’s £1 donation for every cover, has generated over £36,000 to date for the charity.
