Ascot, Berkshire – This summer Royal Ascot will return presenting a spellbinding explosion of the senses, including world-class horse-racing, high fashion and exquisite Fine Dining. Announcing a trio of tantalising chefs – Raymond Blanc OBE, Simon Rogan and Ollie Dabbous – and the launch of a brand-new restaurant, the racecourse once again showcases its ability to bring together some of the world’s top culinary artists, forming part of a truly remarkable and memorable day out.

Two Michelin-starred chef Raymond Blanc OBE celebrates six years at Ascot this year, taking up residence once again in the prestigious Panoramic Restaurant in the Royal Enclosure. This June, he will be back with a tailored menu and a refined service which promises to be one of the finest gastronomic experiences at the Royal Meeting. The Panoramic is a bright and spacious restaurant that boasts uninterrupted views of the racing from its private balcony and terrace.

Speaking about his work with Ascot Racecourse, Culinary Ambassador Raymond Blanc OBE says: “I’m very much looking forward to returning to Royal Ascot this coming June; serving a delicious lunch and afternoon tea to my guests in the Panoramic Restaurant for a sixth year. My 2021 menu will showcase the best British produce as we come to the end of springtime and into the start of summer. Welcoming back racegoers and our restaurant guests will be such a wonderful moment, and I can’t wait to bring that special ‘Raymond Blanc’ hospitality and joie de vivre back to the world’s greatest racecourse. Voila”.

Returning for a third year is five-Michelin star chef Simon Rogan whose high level of skill and extensive experience in fine gastronomy are the perfect recipe for discerning racegoers. Praised as being a culinary leader and champion for impeccable standards and sustainable practices, he promises to deliver a memorable experience for guests of ON 5 – the Queen Anne Enclosure’s award-winning restaurant on the fifth floor of the Ascot Grandstand.

Simon Rogan says: “I am honoured to be returning to Royal Ascot this year, and to see in the beginning of summer and the start of lifting lockdown restrictions, at what has got to be one of my favourite annual events in the British calendar. The team and I have been working hard to create an innovative, delicious and seasonal menu, perfect for a special, al fresco lunch in between races alongside a couple of glasses of something cold - which everyone deserves after the year we’ve all had! We can’t wait to be serving diners in person once more and look forward to seeing everyone there.”

Ollie Dabbous, whose Royal Ascot debut was in 2019, returns to the racecourse taking residence in a brand-new restaurant concept for this year’s Royal Meeting – The Wolferton. Situated on the Trackside Lawns of the Queen Anne Enclosure, this new restaurant offers guests a private table for the day with access to an exclusive viewing balcony providing prime views of the thrilling final furlongs of the track. Interactive chef’s stations offer a range of elegant summer dishes while a three-course table menu can be served at the table offering the ultimate flexibility.

Ollie Dabbous says: "I can't wait to get back into the swing of things at Royal Ascot this year. After what everyone has been through, it will feel like more of a treat than ever before. The Wolferton is a new restaurant that I'll be cooking in and a new menu to be served. It will be a memorable week, as always!”

Brand new for 2021, Rick Stein's much-loved dishes will make their Royal Ascot debut, at the simply named 'Rick Stein'. Featuring some classic summer dishes with a focus on seafood, the menu will offer the likes of whole grilled lobster with chips and an impressive seafood platter. Walkup diners are welcome every day with a limited number of reservations being taken for the 11.30am sitting. To book please email [email protected]

Rick Stein says: “I’m delighted that we will be at Royal Ascot this year. I’ve been to Ascot as a race goer and love it, it’s a highlight of the summer calendar and we’re proud to be part of Royal Ascot week.”

Speaking about Fine Dining at Ascot Racecourse this year, Jonathan Parker, Managing Director of 1711 by Ascot – the racecourse’s in-house catering function – added: “We are really looking forward to welcoming racegoers back to Royal Ascot and to have such an incredible line-up of world-class chefs this year alongside world-class horse racing marks a very special return for the Royal Meeting. We pride ourselves on providing memorable experiences and those who will enjoy their day in Raymond, Simon, Ollie and Rick’s restaurants can expect sensational food, impeccable service and a sporting occasion like no other.”
