May Racing Weekend

Programme & Tickets

Friday 11th – Saturday 12th May 2018

Victoria Cup Raceday

Our May Raceday Weekend culminates with the Victoria Cup Raceday, which represents the final chance for racegoers to visit Ascot before the Royal Meeting starts in mid-June.

The feature race itself is in part a nod to Royal Ascot, albeit also a prestigious prize in its own right. Many of the participants in the Victoria Cup, a seven-furlong handicap, will return to contest major handicaps at around a mile at the Royal Meeting.

But with prize money well in excess of £100,000, it’s a race that every trainer and jockey wants to win.

The Experience

The sense of fun and party atmosphere continues on the final day of racing before Royal Ascot the following month. Live music and entertainment run alongside the racing, tribute acts and Ascot favourites Fully Funktional all performing on the Bandstand throughout the day and after racing.

Alongside some acclaimed music acts will be some vital flat racing, with many using this meeting as the springboard for the Royal Meeting.

The perfect Saturday out with friends and family and hopefully the weather will match the action on and off the track.
