An exciting opportunity has arisen with Sodexo as the Training Manager based at Ascot Racecourse.  This role manages the delivery of all training and development opportunities for Sodexo staff onsite through the Ascot Academy Training programme, whether casual workers, agency staff or full-time members of the team.

SUPPORT RECEPTIONIST

This is a fixed term position from Monday 6th May 2019 - Saturday 22nd June 2019 (inclusive),   You will be working full time Monday to Friday.

Reporting to the full time Receptionist, you will provide support during the summer racing period in the lead up to Royal Ascot and until just after the King George Weekend.

EA TO THE CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

This is a full time permanent position.

To provide the Chief Operating Officer with close personal and collaborative support in the performance of his role, acting for him in his absence and running some projects and processes autonomously. To manage the flow of information between the Chief Operating Officer and Departmental Managers and coordination of projects involving multiple Managers across various Departments. Due to the project nature of the role and the events side to the business, a flexible approach to the working day may be required on occasion.

TICKETING PACKER

This is a 3 month fixed term position which can be offered on either a full-time or part-time basis.

Reporting to the Ticketing & Fulfilment Manager, you will be packing and dispatching all tickets for Royal Ascot and Ascot racedays until the end of The Royal Meeting on Saturday 22nd June 2019.

MARKETING EXECUTIVE (B2C ADVERTISING, EMAILS AND INSIGHT)

This is a permanent position.

Responsible for ensuring that a B2C advertising plan is implemented in a timely way and that return on investment is maximised by an aspirational and relevant positioning to the target audience and by constant monitoring of the campaign, and where necessary, evolving the campaign.

Implement, monitor and evolve year-round sales emails plan across events using insights to segment the audience based on transactional history and interests, and brief in appropriate content support from the Content Team.

This is a permanent position.

To co-ordinate, support and advise the business on all aspects regarding Health and Safety. 

To establish, manage and monitor standards, processes, communications, training and systems to ensure all responsibilities associated with health and Safety within Ascot Racecourse are adhered to.

MAINTENANCE PROJECT OPERATIVE

The main duties will be to carry out general buildings projects, including tasks such as carpentry and joinery, bricklaying, plastering, and general construction work.
