Work Experience

We receive a high amount of requests for work experience during the year and as such we have to place a limit on the amount of placements we can offer in a year. We will be communicating our application process for work experience shortly.



As the Grounds and Infrastructure Team Leader, your role will be to oversee and undertake groundworks and logistics of the racecourse facilities, and lead a team of three Groundworks and Logistics Operatives.

You will be in charge of supporting the facilities Department in key areas during race days and non-race days.  These will include pipes and drainage, slabs for new pathways, digging trenches, setting out pedestrian barriers, assisting departments in moving goods, and ensuring all is done to help maintain acceptable conditions whilst meeting all timescales and deadlines.

Reporting into the Commercial Director, the Media & Data Rights Project Manager will support the Media Rights Consultant and the Media Rights Lawyer to move Ascot’s Media & Data Rights inhouse. This is a fantastic new 7-month fixed term position in which you could help shape Ascot’s commercial development.

Ascot is undertaking a review of the current media and data rights management and contractual positions, and as the Project Manager you will co-ordinate and support the smooth running of the project.

As the Marketing Executive, you will be reporting to the Senior Content Marketing Manager, ensuring that the annual marketing communications plan is delivered to engage with key consumer groups through creating tailored offline content across Ascot’s own channels and relevant external platforms.

You will be a custodian to the Ascot brand and its sub-brands, policing and supporting both internal and external stakeholders to ensure that we deliver a consistent and defined brand identity across all customer touch-points including design and tone of voice.

Reporting into the Senior Facilities Co-ordinator, this position will give you the opportunity to get stuck into the preparation of groundworks and infrastructure operations for our racedays and events. You will be a part of a large team working to ensure Ascot maintains its meticulous eye for detail, whether that be placing the white picket fencing around the immaculate lawns, or setting the stage with furniture and signage before the guests arrive.

Reporting into the Senior Facilities Co-ordinator, the Mechanical Shift Leader/ Electrical Team Leader will be responsible for co-ordination in the delivery of all Mechanical/Electrical elements across Ascot Racecourse. You will provide building services engineering to support the long- term maintenance, longevity, day to day operation and management of the Mechanical/Electrical Team. You will provide knowledge of operation and building infrastructure, including mechanical and building fabric. This is a fantastic Part-Time opportunity within the Client Services team at a world-renowned Event’s and Leisure establishment.  This role is responsible for the successful operational delivery of the Royal Ascot Racing Club and day to day management of the Membership. You will be based at the office three days per week, or equivalent, with management responsibility for the RARC - Club Executive. This role will also provide the ‘face’ of the Royal Ascot Racing Club to members on racedays and where necessary at networking events where recruitment of new members is an opportunity.

As well as undertaking analysis of marketing campaigns, you will oversee Ascot’s quantitative and qualitative customer research to inform our product development and approach to key customer groups including racing enthusiasts, social racegoers, families, membership and hospitality guests.
