Flat Season Finale

QIPCO British Champions Day, now in its seventh year, is the finale of the European Flat racing season. It's the richest raceday in the British calendar and the chance to see the World's finest horses and jockeys battle it out for their slice of history.

As the culmination of the QIPCO British Champions Series, this raceday features the end-of-season championship races for Ten-furlong horses (The Champion Stakes), Milers (The Queen Elizabeth II Stakes), Sprinters (six furlongs), Long distance horses (two miles) and Fillies and Mares (one mile and four furlongs).

The Experience

The flat season finale promises the World’s best racehorses delivering moments that go down in racing history.

The eyes of the racing world are focused on Ascot for the richest day in British racing - over £4 million in prize money is on offer across the final races in each of the five QIPCO British Champions Series categories.

It presents a fantastic opportunity for the season's equine stars and their owners, together with the top trainers and jockeys, to achieve sporting immortality on Ascot's historic turf.

One of the most talented musicians of his generation, George Ezra, will bring Britain’s richest raceday to a close when he headlines the after-party at QIPCO British Champions Day here at Ascot on the Grandstand Lawn once racing has come to an end.

There are several experiences to choose from. Each offers a truly unique experience at our historic racecourse.

King Edward VII Enclosure

Guests will have an unsurpassed vantage point and enjoy access to exclusive bars and restaurants across the stylish and spacious fourth floor of the Grandstand. Capacity in this area has been reduced to ensure there is sufficient seating on the balcony for all racegoers, where you can enjoy uninterrupted views of the racing action below.

Winning Post Enclosure

From £45

Located at the west end of the Grandstand’s ground-floor, the Winning Post Enclosure offers guests a private enclave yet is in the heart of the action. With private viewing lawns immediately adjacent to the Winning Post, this is the closest you will get to the crucial final moments of each race. Guests will also have access to a second viewing lawn where they are welcome to enjoy a picnic.

Queen Anne Enclosure

Tickets £24

Put yourself at the centre of the raceday, at the very heart of the action. In the Queen Anne Enclosure you can view the horses in the Parade Ring before heading trackside to watch the top-class racing. You will find plenty of delicious options for food and drink, or you may choose to bring your own to enjoy a relaxed picnic on the lawns.
