Renamed in honour of the monarch who founded Ascot Racecourse in 1711, the Queen Anne Enclosure was formerly known as our Grandstand Admission Enclosure.

Get up close to the action next to the running rails or enjoy an elevated viewing position on the steppings of the state-of-the-art grandstand. Racegoers also have access to many of Ascot’s lawns from where a picnic can be enjoyed and also access the Parade Ring and Winners’ Enclosure

The Marquee Club £30 per person (excluding Queen Anne Enclosure admission)

The Marquee Club is the perfect venue for racegoers wishing to upgrade their Queen Anne Enclosure ticket to enjoy a more luxurious racing experience at the King George VI Weekend. A private bar and seating area just a short stroll to the Grandstand. Table service for drinks ensures that you don’t miss a moment of the action.

Guests of The Marquee Club will also have access to the Winning Post Lawns after racing. Open until 9pm with a variety of Champagne and cocktail bars to choose from, live music entertainment and DJs extend the excitement into the evening.

Picnic Benches

Enjoy your delicious picnic within the beautiful grounds of the racecourse, reserving your table in advance. A dedicated lawn of 20 private tables seating up to six people affords guests a guaranteed bench for the duration of the day as well as offering table service for drinks.

Ascot is best enjoyed with friends, family or colleagues. Our Party Packages for 10 or more people offer great savings and convenience by including the cost of admission, a £2 Tote betting voucher, a Racecard and three drinks (beer or house wine only) for each guest.

Picnics SOLD OUT

New for 2017, private picnic tables are available in the picnic area on the Queen Anne Lawn to settle down with friends and family in your own space to eat and drink, priced at £60 for six people, excluding admission ticket.

Racegoers are welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy in the designated picnic areas around the racecourse. You are also welcome to enjoy a picnic in the car parks prior to entering the racecourse.

If you intend on bringing your own picnic to Ascot then please ensure you have read our picnic policy before attending.

Live Music

The summer vibe will be in full swing throughout the day on King George Saturday with a live DJ playing throughout the day on the Grandstand Lawn. 

The Red, White and Blue Bandstand will also host British-feel function band in between races, with an acoustic guitarist and singer on the Queen Anne Lawn too.

Winning Post Enclosure

**Please note this enclosure is now SOLD OUT**

Located on the west end of the Grandstand’s ground-floor, the Winning Post Enclosure offers guests a private enclave within the heart of the action.

With exclusive use of the viewing lawn next to the Winning Post, this is the closest you will get to the final moments of each race. Guests will also have access to a second lawn where they are welcome to enjoy a picnic.

King Edward VII Enclosure From £85 in advance

The King Edward VII Enclosure is the best way to experience a raceday at Ascot Racecourse. It offers racegoers spectacular views from the fourth floor of the Grandstand, a wealth of dining and restaurant options, plus a host of Ascot’s finest bars and lounge areas to relax in.

With capacity reduced to further enhance the experience for the King George VI Raceday, racegoers can look forward to table service from our attentive staff and a seat overlooking the finishing straight.

The enclosure took its new name in 2016 and is now named in honour of Her Majesty The Queen’s great-grandfather, whose passion for racing and patronage of Ascot was unbounded.
