Festival of Food & Wine Racing Weekend

 

The Festival of Food & Wine will begin on Thursday 7th September and end on Sunday 10th September, with racing on Friday and Saturday only. 

Enjoy mouth-watering action, on and off the track, at one of summer’s most popular racing weekends combined with a fabulous food and wine festival, in association with delicious. magazine, making it a four-day feasting extravaganza.

With Flat racing on Friday and Saturday only, you can also savour and sip top-quality food and drink from over 100 stalls on the Food Avenue with live chef demonstrations and tastings across all four days. Find out more

For enhanced views of the racing, the King Edward VII Enclosure provides exclusive access to the best facilities on Level 4 of the Grandstand. Along with access to the Queen Anne Enclosure, racegoers also have exclusive access to lawns in front of the Winning Post on premier racedays.

There is free entry for under-18s on all racedays when accompanied by an adult. These tickets are issued on the day and there is no need to pre-order. Please note that identification to verify age may be required at the turnstiles.

Enjoy mouth-watering action on and off the track as racegoers indulge in fabulous food and wine and learn from the experts at a four-day culinary celebration, run in partnership with delicious. magazine, alongside some of the final days of Ascot’s Flat season. 

The perfect summer day

A fantastic day of flat racing is headlined by Britain’s most valuable three-year old handicap which takes place over a mile-and-a-half and has prize money of £100,000. 

Racegoers can also look forward to a culinary demonstration by one of the country's top chefs.as well food stalls and free samples.

Savour and sip at over 100 food and drinks companies offering you gastronomic delights from around the world, featuring artisan gin, British cheeses and much more.. Located in the Grandstand, on the concourse and in the Cooking Theatre, ensure you visit all areas to discover unique takes on modern cuisine.

Great British Bake Off winner Candice Brown,and award-winning chefs Raymond Blanc OBE and James Tanner will be demonstrating skills and tips as well as answering all of your culinary questions. Wine tipster Neil Phillips will also be talking you through wines and the racing. 

COOKING THEATRE in the furlong club

Ascot has teamed up with delicious. magazine to transform The Furlong Club into a live Cooking Theatre where celebrity chefs, including two-Michelin star chef Raymond Blanc, will reveal their top tips. Numerous bars and food and drink stalls sit alongside the stage with a spacious viewing balcony to watch the racing from.

 

The Social Kitchen

The Social Kitchen is about people meeting around a table, chatting and connecting over food. Fisher & Paykel make this possible by having the most intuitive ovens, hobs, fridges and dishwashers on the market, so rather than spending time in your kitchen slaving over your appliances, you can be with your guests enjoying dinner table tales.

BBQ Masterclass

With three masterclasses each day, racegoers and guests will enjoy expert tuition on making the most of your BBQ. Using the latest Broil King BBQ technology, classes are designed for all skill levels, from inexperienced beginners to expert grillers, and offer tips and advice on creating the perfect al fresco feast.

King Edward VII Enclosure

PREVIOUSLY KNOWN AS PREMIER ADMISSION

With seated balconies overlooking both the Parade Ring and track, racegoers have unsurpassed views of the action before, during, and after each race.  Guests will enjoy a selection of elegant bars and dining options on this private fourth-floor and can also access all of the facilities available to customers in the Queen Anne Enclosure.

PREVIOUSLY KNOWN AS THE GRANDSTAND ENCLOSURE

Put yourself at the centre of the raceday, at the very heart of the action. Racegoers in the Queen Anne Enclosure can view the horses in the Parade Ring before heading trackside to watch the top-class racing. You will find plenty of delicious options for food and drink, or you may choose to bring your own to enjoy a relaxed picnic on the lawns.

Featuring a one-off four-course à la carte luncheon colaborated by chefs including Raymond Blanc and James Tanner in the Parade Ring Restaurant.

THE ASCOT SHOP

Selling a brand-new range of products inspired by the heritage, tradition and fashions of Ascot and Royal Ascot. Shop vouchers can be purchased in denominations of £10, £25 and £50.

Wines from around the world

Whet your appetite as you sample delicious fine wine from connoisseurs at Bibendum. Wine vouchers cost £6 for 5 wines. Wine vouchers are avilable for purchase on the day from the Wine Festival.

Delicious Food Stalls

Located towards the East End of the Grandstand will be more than 100 food and wine stalls. A free shop-and-drop facility will be available so you can collect your purchases at the end of the day.

Plan Your Journey

Situated in the heart of the Berkshire countryside, located close to the M3, M4, M40 & M25 motorways and reached in just under one hour by train from London, Ascot offers easy access for all racegoers wherever their departure point.

Picnic Policy

Racegoers are welcome to bring their own picnics as long as they abide by our Picnic Policy. Picnics must be brought in at the time of entry to the enclosure and not on re-entry.

Car park labels are included with all restaurant packages. Additional labels should be purchased in advance by calling +44 (0)844 346 0346. 

A £1 booking fee now applies to all orders placed online (excluding print at home tickets). This charge will be applied at the payment stage or is included in any additional charge for special postage methods. Orders placed by telephone will incur a £3 booking fee. 

Coach Drivers

Coach drivers can obtain a free Grandstand Admission ticket on production of their PCV or PSV licence and their work docket to any Ticket Office.
