A unique fixture in the global racing calendar as the world’s top jockeys come together to compete for the points to lift racing’s ultimate team prize. For many visitors, the off-track entertainment is every bit as appealing with a post-racing concert on the Old Paddock Lawns and free fairground rides throughout the day.
The music line-up for 2020 will be revealed early in the new year, with the likes of Rita Ora, Craig David and All Saints among those to have thrilled the crowd in recent years.
The world’s premier international jockey’s competition has four competing teams: Great Britain and Ireland, Europe, the Rest of The World and The Girls.
The jockeys will arrive for the opening ceremony at 12.00pm in the Parade Ring, before taking each other on to score points over six races. Last year the Rest of the World were victorious, while Shergar Cup specialist Hayley Turner secured her second successive Alistair Haggis Silver Saddle for leading jockey.
