Festive fun for the whole family featuring the £150,000 The Wessex Youth Trust Handicap Hurdle over two miles as part of Ascot’s most valuable day of Jumps racing.
 
Our Christmas Saturday is a designated family day. Children under 18 are welcomed for free.

The Queen Anne Enclosure provides access to the Parade Ring, Pre-Parade Ring and the excellent facilities and viewing areas on the Concourse Level of the Grandstand, with a variety of places to eat, drink and bet.

For enhanced views of the racing, the King Edward VII Enclosure provides exclusive access to the best facilities on Level 4 of the Grandstand. Along with access to the Queen Anne Enclosure, racegoers also have exclusive access to lawns in front of the Winning Post on premier racedays.

There is free entry for under-18s on all racedays when accompanied by an adult. These tickets are issued on the day and there is no need to pre-order. Please note that identification to verify age may be required at the turnstiles.

DRAMATIC JUMPS RACING & FAMILY FUN

Round off your year with a quality six-race card featuring the Grade 1 JLT Reve De Sivola Long Walk Hurdle and the £150,000 The Wessex Youth Trust Handicap Hurdle as part of Ascot’s most valuable day of Jumps racing.

The Saturday of the Christmas Meeting is also one of our most-loved family days with an array of free entertainment on offer from pony rides to face painting. 

IT'S BEGINNING TO LOOK A LOT LIKE CHRISTMAS

Get into the festive spirit with mulled wine, mince pies and carol singing in the Grandstand after racing, led by Father Christmas. 

FUN FOR ALL THE FAMILY

Arrive early to catch Father Christmas arrive in his sleigh. There is also plenty to keep children entertained with craft areas, story telling with Mrs Christmas, fairground rides and much more.

Queen Anne Enclosure

PREVIOUSLY KNOWN AS THE GRANDSTAND ENCLOSURE

Put yourself at the centre of the raceday, at the very heart of the action. Racegoers in the Queen Anne Enclosure can view the horses in the Parade Ring before heading trackside to watch the top-class racing. You will find plenty of delicious options for food and drink, or you may choose to bring your own to enjoy a relaxed picnic on the lawns.

King Edward VII Enclosure

PREVIOUSLY KNOWN AS PREMIER ADMISSION

With seated balconies overlooking both the Parade Ring and track, racegoers have unsurpassed views of the action before, during, and after each race.  Guests will enjoy a selection of elegant bars and dining options on this private fourth-floor and can also access all of the facilities available to customers in the Queen Anne Enclosure.

SANTA CLAUS IS COMING TO TOWN

Visit the Parade Ring before watching to see Father Christmas and Mrs Christmas arrive at the racecourse in true festive style on their sleigh, alongside their little helpers.

Carol Singing

Racegoers are invited to join Ascot’s annual sing-along carol concert in the centre of the Grandstand concourse after the last race. Father Christmas will lead the festive classics accompanied by Mrs Christmas, the Tootsie Rollers and the Ascot Brass Band. 

Santa's workshop

Meet and greet Father Christmas and hand-deliver your letter with time to spare before Christmas Day. 

Family Rides

A selection of rides including the Train Ride, Mini Wheel and Clip Clop pony rides will be available for our younger racegoers free of charge until the last race on the Plaza Lawns as part of Animal Avenue. 

PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES

Don’t forget to have your photo taken with family and friends inside our snow globe on the Plaza Lawns. You can also look forward to meeting our teddy bear Greencoat.  

Special Appearances

You can expect special appearances throughout the day from balloon modellers and Christmas characters, while face painters will be on hand for children seeking a new festive look.

There is plenty of delicious on-the-go and casual food options available to racegoers throughout the Racecourse.

Racecourse Tour

Enjoy a free guided tour from one of our iconic Bowler Hat Stewards including a visit to the weighing room and jockey’s changing rooms. For times and location please refer to the Racecard on the day.

The best available car park spaces for each admission level will be sold first, so book early for the most convenient location.

Car park labels are included with all restaurant packages. Additional labels should be purchased in advance by calling +44 (0)844 346 0346. 

A £1 booking fee now applies to all orders placed online (excluding print at home tickets). This charge will be applied at the payment stage or is included in any additional charge for special postage methods. Orders placed by telephone will incur a £3 booking fee. 

Forward Parking
