What to Wear in the King Edward VII Enclosure

Ladies should dress as for a smart occasion and are encouraged to wear hats. Gentlemen are required to wear a jacket with a collared shirt and tie.

New for this year's QIPCO King George Day, King Edward VII Enclosure guests can enjoy a two-course meal on the 4th floor in our Horsewalk Restaurant.

For £25 (in advance) or £30 on the day, enjoy a Plymouth Fruit Cup welcome drink and choice of three main courses and two desserts at 4:30pm and recharge your batteries after the day's big race and in anticipation of Dermot O'Leary's performance on the Bandstand.

The Story of King Edward VII

The eldest son and second child of Victoria and Albert, ‘Bertie’ as he was known by his mother, developed a keen interest in racing from a young age. 

In 1866 he earned a rebuke from his mother having attended all four days of the Royal Meeting!
