What to Wear in the King Edward VII Enclosure

Ladies should dress as for a smart occasion and are encouraged to wear hats. Gentlemen are required to wear a jacket with a collared shirt and tie.

Racegoers in the King Edward VII Enclosure also have access to all bars and restaurants in the Queen Anne Enclosure

The Story of King Edward VII

The eldest son and second child of Victoria and Albert, ‘Bertie’ as he was known by his mother, developed a keen interest in racing from a young age. 

In 1866 he earned a rebuke from his mother having attended all four days of the Royal Meeting!
