On 18th September 2019, Ascot played host to the Berkshire Community Foundation and ME2 club’s inaugural cheese and wine evening, co-sponsored by Beaufort Financial and KJ Smith Solicitors.
Guests were treated to wine tastings from Ascot’s official wine merchants, Hallgarten & Novum Wines, alongside selected cheeses prepared by Ascot’s catering team. Hugo Vickers, Patron of the ME2 Club also regaled the group with his interesting stories.
Tess Eagles, CEO of ME2 Club, updated distinguished guests on the work of the charity and Tom and Vincent, members of the club, delighted everyone with their personal accounts of their adventures that were facilitated by the club which sees those with additional needs and disabilities to enjoy mainstream activities with the help of trained buddies.
