Ascot Spring Garden Show charity revealed

We are delighted to be supporting Thames Hospice through the Ascot Spring Garden Show 2018.

Thames Hospice is the local charity providing expert care for people living with life-limiting illnesses in East Berkshire and South Buckinghamshire. A vital part of their work is also supporting their families and carers.

They care for the physical, social and psychological needs of their patients, not just the condition. Their highly skilled medical team works with the patient, their family and carers, to develop a complete programme of care tailored to their individual needs.

Their services include therapy, nursing and medical care, as well as practical and emotional support in their Hospice at Windsor and in patients' homes.

It costs more than £7million every year to keep the Hospice running. 80% of their income is from charitable donations, which enables them to provide their services free of charge, 365 days a year, to the people who need it.

In addition to a percentage of the ticket price Thames Hospice volunteers will be running the plant creche throughout the show, while the creche is complimentary should you wish to make a donation for the service you receive then all of this will go directly to the hospice. They will also be selling a range of products from the Thames Hospice shop located within the creche with all profit going to the charity.
