Volunteering

ROYAL ASCOT GENERAL ADMISSION TICKETS SELLING FAST - THURSDAY & SATURDAY EXPECTED TO SELL OUT FIRST

Since 2018, Ascot employees have been given an allowance of one day per year in order to participate in volunteer activities that are either linked to activities that the Racecourse supports, or causes close to their hearts.

Employees have thoroughly enjoyed learning more about the amazing causes that the racecourse has chosen to support whilst also building relationships with those who also volunteer their time to help those most at need in the county.

Amongst the volunteer days held to date, a favourite was hosting Sebastian's Action Trust’s Xmas in July, a special day that saw families with children with life-limiting or life-threatening illnesses enjoy exclusive access to the “My First Festival” themed activities that stayed in situ following the Summer Mile Family Raceday.

Ascot employees have also been part of the Covid-19 emergency response – read more here.

Racing Together Community Day
Every year, racecourses come together to support their local communities.  Previous activities have included flower planting at Thames Hospice and a foodbank drive during a raceday.
