REFUNDS IN RELATION TO COVID-19
Where a fixture which you have a ticket for is cancelled due to legislation, government guidance or any other public health measure introduced to restrict the spread of Covid-19, Ascot shall refund the full price of your ticket including any booking fees. Where a fixture has started but must be abandoned for any of the above reasons Ascot’s usual refund policy will apply.
Where you are unable to attend a fixture for which you have a ticket due to complying with government guidance to self-isolate during the date of that fixture, for example, because you have tested positive for Covid-19, or because you have been notified via the NHS Test and Trace App that you may have come into contact with someone who has contracted Covid-19, you shall be entitled to a full refund for the ticket. The ticket holder must contact us prior to the start of the relevant fixture and we may request that the ticket holder provides evidence to show, to our reasonable satisfaction, that they were unable to attend the fixture for these reasons before we will agree to process a refund.
Where you are unable to attend a fixture in any other circumstance to those set out above, Ascot’s usual refund policy will apply.
ARL regrets it cannot replace tickets/badges that are lost or stolen. ARL reserves the right to alter the advertised racing programme.
In the event of racing being abandoned, refunds on entrance money and car parking will be made in the following circumstances:
a) Abandonment before the running of the first race; a full refund will be given.
b) Abandonment before the third or feature race, whichever is later – a 50% refund will be given.
c) Abandonment thereafter, no refund will be given.
To claim, apply in writing no later than 30 days after the affected raceday, enclosing your ticket and/or badge to the Sales Manager, Ascot Racecourse, Ascot, Berkshire, SL5 7JX.
