ASCOT LAUNCHES PRIZE PUMPKIN COMPETITION ON NATIONAL PUMPKIN DAY


It’s National Pumpkin Day and to celebrate Ascot has launched its pumpkin carving competition; ‘Ascot’s Prize Pumpkin’.

As households all over the country get their carving tools out in preparation for Halloween on Tuesday 31st October, the racecourse is giving people the chance to share their creations to be in with a chance of winning two King Edward VII Enclosure tickets for the Fireworks Spectacular Family Raceday on Saturday 4th November.

Having set the benchmark with an Ascot and racehorse themed pumpkin, designed and carved by Warwickshire artist, Rachael Brookes, the competition will be encouraging anyone to submit their entries on Twitter before midday on Tuesday 31st October.
