Ascot Racecourse recently played host to The World Horse Trail - a unique public art project highlighting the work of the international charity World Horse Welfare.
Ten of the 40-piece trail were displayed around the parade ring, featuring a variety of sculptures including working horses from countries where families rely on their animals to make a living.
The stunning designs have been created by artists, celebrities, students and members of the public, inspired by the stories or names of the horses which the charity has helped.

These sculptures are also being auctioned later this year with a chance to win a unique mini-sculpture designed by Trudy Redfern.
