ROYAL ASCOT GENERAL ADMISSION TICKETS SELLING FAST - THURSDAY & SATURDAY EXPECTED TO SELL OUT FIRST

Armed Forces Day

On the Friday of Royal Ascot, unofficially known as “Armed Forces Day”, concessions are specially made available for military personnel and volunteers from the Royal Navy, Army and Royal Air Force as part of Ascot Racecourse’s support for them.

In 2017, 2,895 tickets were sold via the half price 2-for-1 ticket offer available via Ticket for Troops; in 2018 2,435 tickets were sold. The three related charities - The Royal Navy & Royal Marines Charity, ABF The Soldier’ Charity and the RAF Benevolent Fund - hold bucket collections on the day.

Over the last six years, Ascot Racecourse has helped the ABF raise over £180,000 onsite through various different fundraising activities.  Ascot also donate £2.50 from every jug of Pimms sold on the day .
