Royal Ascot winners My Dream Boat and Hawkbill are among seven entries for the Coral-Eclipse at Sandown Park on Saturday.
My Dream Boat was a battling winner of the Prince of Wales’s Stakes, pipping Ryan Moore and Found in a photo finish. That race was headlined by Japanese raider A Shin Hikari but the pace setter fell away to allow My Dream Boat and Found the chance to battle it out in a thrilling finish.
Hawkbill was an impressive winner in the Tercentenary Stakes at Royal Ascot too, under William Buick who will not ride him at Sandown.
The Gurkha however is the hot favourite for the Coral-Eclipse after finishing second in a Guineas triple header at Royal Ascot behind Galileo Gold.
French Guineas winner and Ryan Moore will be hoping to bounce back from that defeat, in what was one of the most exciting moments of Royal Ascot 2016.
Time Test was a withdrawal from Royal Ascot due to the softer ground, but a return at Sandown is now confirmed and after a rest, could be a big player.
Three time Sandown winner Western Hymn is also in the seven-runner field along with Bravery and Countermeasure.
