Gather friends and family to enjoy Ascot's first meeting of the 2017/18 Jumps season, featuring the £100,000 Sodexo Gold Cup Chase over three miles.
In 2016, Antony stole the show to land the prize ahead of some high-class horses who went on to make headlines during the National Hunt season.
Racing is followed by one of the region's largest Fireworks Spectaculars. The show begins at 6.30pm and will last for around 25 minutes.
The day is a designated family day and entry is free for children under 18.
A number of Fairground Rides are open throughout the day and are FREE until 4pm, when a £1 charity charge will be put in place. The following rides will take over the Ascot Lawns:
Pavilion Lawns - Sizzle Twist Ride
Grandstand Lawn - Waltzers and Dodgems
Queen Anne Lawn - Big slide and (for younger children) Paratrooper and Mini Jets
Stewards House Lawn - Miami Dance and Picnic Lawn
As well as the Fireworks Spectacular and Free Fairground Rides, much more fanily fun will be available including Clip Clop Pony Rides, Face Painting, Trick or Treating and an interactive Guy Fawkes Garden on the Bandstand.
An exclusive offer on the Fireworks Spectacular Family Raceday in The Ascot Shop includes 50% off marked prices on all children’s clothing and caps as well as deals on teddy bears and colouring equipment.
Book a taxi to and from Ascot to ensure you have one less worry on the day
King Edward VII Enclosure and Winning Post Enclosure
Ladies generally like to dress for a smart occasion.
Gentlemen usually wear a jacket with a collared shirt and tie.
Whilst this style of dress is preferred it is not compulsory during the jumps season.
Queen Anne Enclosure
Whilst we encourage racegoers to wear smart clothing, no formal dress code applies to the Queen Anne Enclosure.
Ascot Racecourse is ideally situated in beautiful wooded countryside adjoining Windsor Great Park and about a 50 minute drive or train journey from London.
Located close to the M3, M4, M40 & M25 motorways and to London Heathrow for international visitors, Ascot offers easy access for all racegoers wherever their departure point.
Please arrive early. As a major national event we take our security obligations very seriously and are conscious of events around us, as are the hosts of other major sporting events. There will be delays at the entrances and racegoers and participants alike are advised to arrive early.
