Ascot Racecourse is delighted to announce its debut partnership with celebrated chef, James Tanner. James will be hosting a pop up restaurant in the Queen Anne Enclosure at Royal Ascot this year. To be known as‘The Queen Anne Kitchen’it will be a walk in, no reservations set up.
The menu will be centred on brasserie style dishes inspired by James’ Barbican Kitchen restaurant located in Plymouth, which he co-owns with his brother Chris Tanner. Dishes will include a West Country crab salad with pink grapefruit and avocado; salt and pepper squid with Miso mayo, lime and coriander shoots; and a 100% steak Burger with a brioche bun, burger sauce, smoked bacon, cheddar cheese, pickles and fries. Desserts will include Pave of chocolate, oreo crumb and crème fraiche sorbet and an Eton Mess with English strawberries.

Choose from The Villiers Club within The Village Enclosure which is located at the heart of the track next to the home straight offering live music, cocktails and canapes to be enjoyed throughout the day. Alternatively, The Furlong Club is located within The Queen Anne Enclosure close to the bandstand and within the Parade Ring. Here a private bar and lounge area offers a varied menu including Caviar House & Prunier, producer of the world’s finest Prunier caviar and Balik smoked salmon.
