The annual Autumn Racing Weekend & Ascot Beer Festival, in association with The Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA), returns to Ascot Racecourse for its 11th year on Friday 6th and Saturday 7th October 2017 for two days of exhilarating Flat racing and real ale, cider and perry tasting.
The action-packed racecard is crowned by the Listed London Metric Noel Murless Stakes on Friday 6th October, run over a mile and six furlongs, with the feature race on Saturday 7th October being the Totescoop6 Challenge Cup – the UK’s joint most valuable seven-furlong handicap with a £180,000 prize fund.
Away from the track, racegoers will have more than 240 real ales, ciders and perries to discover and taste as part of the annual Ascot Beer Festival. For those seeking fine lager beers by the stein, live entertainment from an authentic Oompah band, traditional German dress and a true Bavarian atmosphere, the Ascot Bier Haus has it all on Saturday 7th October
Selected from the best local breweries and favourites from across the UK, the numerous beers and real ales on offer include exclusive festival brews fromLongdog Brewery in Basingstoke,Thames Side Brewery in StainesandWild Weather Ales in Berkshire. Thames Side Brewery's India Pale Ale Egyptian Goose will be back in 2017 to defend its crown having been voted the ‘Best of Festival’ beer at the 2016 event.

Across the racecourse people can also expect new additions for 2017 including a range of beer cocktails, a new area focusing on independent craft beers, gluten free brews, beer and pie pairing, demonstrations, workshops and much more.”
The Autumn Racing Weekend & Ascot Beer Festival takes place from Friday 6th to Saturday 7th October 2017. Entry starts from £18 per person providing access to both the Ascot Beer Festival and Flat Racing. Accompanied children under 18 years of age gain free entry at all Ascot race meetings.
