Appletiser, the 100% fruit juice drink and Official Soft Drink of Ascot, today reveals its new brand ambassador, Jodie Kidd, with pictures of her posing by a fountain made entirely of its iconic green bottles.
Looking glorious in apple green, horseracing fan Jodie enjoyed exclusive access to Ascot for the photo shoot with the Appletiser fountain, which has been intricately made out of almost 1,000 individual bottles. Constructed of 13 layers and measuring 2.6 metres high, 1,300 litres of water will flow through the structure at any one time.
Racegoers will have their chance to see the Appletiser fountain on the grandstand concourse at the forthcoming King George VI Weekend at Ascot and will be able to control the flow of the water by tweeting @AppletiserUK with either #blackcurrant , #pomegranate or #apple.
Jodie Kidd, brand ambassador for Appletiser, said: “I’m excited to unveil the Appletiser fountain at Ascot. I’m an avid racegoer and love the social side, as well as the sport. Whether it’s a quintessential day at the races, or just dinner with friends, Appletiser is a great sparkling alternative to another favourite at the races, champagne.”
Racegoers at the King George VI Weekend (24th – 25th July) will have the opportunity to watch Ascot’s richest race, The King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes (Sponsored by QIPCO).
For those who would still like to attend King George VI Saturday on Saturday, July 25, Grandstand tickets are available for £25, as is the Furlong Club for £140.Click here for more information and to book tickets.
Following the success of the Furlong Club at Royal Ascot, the Furlong Club at King George VI Saturday was launched earlier this month. The Furlong Club is a private marquee with its own exclusive trackside viewing balcony and seating areas. Racegoers can look forward to a grazing menu throughout the day (included within the price), an exclusive cash bar, Grandstand Admission and private Totepool betting facilities.
