SATURDAY 21ST JANUARY
Ascot’s New Year gets underway with arguably its best-loved Jumps race - the Grade One Clarence House Steeple Chase. With a prize fund of £125,000 the race is a vital stepping-stone to the Champion Chase at the Cheltenham Festival, attracting the very best two-mile chasers in Europe.
SATURDAY 18TH FEBRUARY
Enjoy one of the most prestigious races in the Jumps calendar, the £150,000 Grade 1 Betfair Ascot Chase. Previous winners include Cue Card, Silviniaco Conti and Kauto Star.
SUNDAY 2ND APRIL (FAMILY DAY)
A fitting finale to the Jumps season at Ascot, it is a day for the whole family featuring competitive racing alongside a range of countryside inspired activities from sheep dog and duck displays to climbing walls and the annual Lamb National.
WEDNESDAY 3RD MAY
The opening day of Ascot’s Flat season is perfect for racing newcomers. There will be talks and tours giving an insight into the sport. Featured is the £60,000 Group Three Longines Sagaro Stakes, one of the most important trial races for the Gold Cup on the third day of Royal Ascot.
FRIDAY 12TH - SATURDAY 13TH MAY
On Friday Ascot celebrates the start of lighter summer nights with its only evening meeting, whilst Saturday is an excellent day of racing featuring the Totepool Victoria Cup.
TUESDAY 20TH – SATURDAY 24TH JUNE
One of the most anticipated events in the British summer sporting and social calendar and the centrepiece of Ascot’s year. Five days of world-class racing, excitement, pageantry, fashion and style make Royal Ascot an event Like Nowhere Else.
FRIDAY 14TH - SATURDAY 15TH JULY (FAMILY DAY)
Saturday’s raceday features the £130,000 Group Two Fred Cowley MBE Memorial Summer Mile and is a relaxed yet stylish day of picnicking with plenty of free family entertainment including fairground rides, children’s activities and a teddy bears’ picnic on the lawns. Property Raceday, held on Friday, is a well-established fundraising occasion for the property industry and has raised more than £1million for children’s charities.
FRIDAY 28TH - SATURDAY 29TH JULY
The King George Weekend is one of Ascot’s most prestigious summer meetings. Saturday features the historic King George VI & Queen Elizabeth Stakes (sponsored by QIPCO) with a prize fund in excess of £1million.
SATURDAY 12TH AUGUST
The world’s premier international jockeys' competition returns to Ascot and will once again feature riding talent from around the world. FRIDAY 8TH - SATURDAY 9TH SEPTEMBER
A two day celebration of food, wine and good quality Flat racing featuring the £100,000 Appletiser Handicap Stakes on the Saturday. In between racing, racegoers can enjoy a cooking demonstration from a well-known celebrity chef and numerous food and wine stalls showcasing gastronomic delights from around the world.
FRIDAY 6TH OCTOBER - SATURDAY 7TH OCTOBER
A two day Flat meeting where racegoers can enjoy sampling more than 280 ales, ciders and perries alongside the racing which include the Gigaset Cumberland Lodge Stakes Group 3 and the £180,000 Totepool Challenge Cup on the Saturday
SATURDAY 21ST OCTOBER
QIPCO British Champions Day is the grand finale of the European Flat season and the richest day in British racing.
SATURDAY 4TH NOVEMBER (FAMILY DAY)
The first meeting of Ascot’s 2017/18 Jumps season and home to one of the largest fireworks displays in the region featuring the £100,000 Sodexo Gold Cup.
FRIDAY 24TH NOVEMBER - SATURDAY 25TH NOVEMBER
A memorable afternoon of Jumps racing combined with a Christmas Shopping Fair where you can enjoy more than 40 stalls selling festive crafts, gifts and delicacies. Racing on the Saturday features the £100,000 Grade 2 Coral Hurdle.
FRIDAY 22ND - SATURDAY 23RD DECEMBER (FAMILY DAY)
The final Jumps meeting of Ascot’s year. Friday is a day for racing and festive entertaining. Saturday is a day for the whole family including carol singing, fairground rides and a visit from Father Christmas and features the Grade One JLT Long Walk Hurdle and the £150,000 Wessex Youth Trust Handicap Hurdle.
