Badge Information
The PASS system will not be in operation. Owners, Trainers and Jockeys badges are hand written, named, non-transferable badges which can be prepared in advance to alleviate congestion on the day. In order to arrange your badges in advance please obtain an Owner/Trainer Badge Request Order Formfrom Holly Mitchell, PA to the Clerk of Course. Please call 01344 878529 and fax back on 0870 460 1250 or email: holly.mitchell@ascot.co.uk.

Owner/Trainer badges DO NOT permit access to the Royal Enclosure.

Owner/Joint Owner/ Partnership/Syndicates
An owner, joint owner, registered partnership or syndicate with a runner will be entitled to a total of six complimentary Owner/Trainer badges. These will be available to collect on the day from the Owners’ and Trainers’ badge desk, situated at Ticket Office West. These named badges are non-transferable and valid only for the day on which the horse is declared to run.

Owners and joint owners who have a runner will be entitled to purchase an additional two badges. Partnerships or syndicates with a runner will be entitled to purchase an additional four badges. These badges must be arranged in advance of the raceday through the Clerk of the Course’s office. Collection and payment will be conducted on the day from the Owners’ & Trainers’ entrance. These additional badges will be named, are non transferable, non-refundable and will admit to the Grandstand Admission area and all dedicated Owner and Trainer facilities on the day, on which the horse is declared to run.

Balloted Out Horses
Owners who have declared a runner at the overnight stage, but have been balloted out due to the safety figures, will be entitled to receive two complimentary Grandstand Admission tickets. In addition, two further Grandstand Admission tickets may be purchased from the Owners’ and Trainers’ entrance on the raceday, subject to availability.

Licensed Trainers
A licensed trainer with a runner may obtain two daily non-transferable named Owner/Trainer badges. Trainers with runners on each of the five days of Royal Ascot will receive weekly badges. These badges allow entrance to the Grandstand Admission areas of the Racecourse and all dedicated Owner and Trainer facilities.

A licensed trainer without a runner may obtain two daily non-transferable named Owner/Trainer badges that allow entrance to the Grandstand Admission areas of the Racecourse and all dedicated Owner and Trainer facilities. These badges are for the use of the licensed trainer and one other and must be collected by the licensed trainer.

Jockeys
Jockeys who are riding at the meeting will be issued with a non- transferable named Owner/Trainer badge upon presentation of their Pass card at the Owners and Trainers badge desk, for security reasons this procedure is necessary in order to gain access into the Racecourse and Weighing room. They are also entitled to claim for one daily non-transferable Owner/Trainer badge for a guest. This badge allows entrance to the Grandstand Admission areas of the Racecourse and all dedicated Owner and Trainer facilities. Admittance for other Jockeys and PJA badge holders will be considered upon prior application to the Clerk of the Course.

ROA, NTF, PJA and RCA Badges
The abovementioned badges are NOT applicable at the Royal Meeting.

Parade Ring Passes
Owner/Trainer badges will NOT admit access to the Parade Ring, Pre-Parade ring or viewing areas. As a general rule owners will be issued six daily Parade Ring passes per runner, however allocations to jointly or syndicate owned horses will be assessed according to the field size. Trainers will be issued with weekly or daily Parade Ring passes.

Owners and Trainers Facilities

Weatherbys Owners Bar and Dining Room
This facility, which is reserved exclusively for the use of owners with a runner on the day and all licensed trainers, is situated above the saddling boxes in the Pre-Parade Ring. This dedicated facility has been extended into the former ‘Grundy Room’ to provide a dining area. This restaurant will serve a complimentary buffet lunch, sandwiches and afternoon tea. Tables cannot be reserved. The bar in Weatherbys Owners Bar will remain open until 7pm each day.

Owners and Trainers Bar
During Royal Ascot an additional owners and trainers bar will be provided, located close to the Owners and Trainers entrance, between the Parade Ring and Pre-Parade Ring.

Viewing
Owners/Trainer badgeholders have two dedicated viewing areas on Concourse Level, reserved exclusively for their use. The main viewing area on Concourse Level is located to the west of the Iron Stand, beneath the Royal Box. This allows connections easy access from the Parade Ring. The second dedicated viewing area is located to the west of the horse walk, behind the stable lads stand and is accessible via the horsewalk.

Car Parking and Travelling to Ascot

Owners, Trainers and Jockeys Parking – Car Park 2
Trainers and Jockeys are entitled to one free car parking space in the Trainers’ & Jockeys’ (Car Park 2). (NTF & PJA Car Park badges allowing access).

Owners with runners on the day will be sent a car park label at the five-day stage featuring their horse’s name(s) – this will allow free parking in the Owners’ Car Park situated in Car Park 2. There will be one label and one space for a single or joint owned horse and two labels and two spaces for a partnership or syndicate. If, as an owner, you are not going to be at your Weatherbys’ registered address at the five day stage, please call Anna McAuley at Weatherbys on 01933 440077 or email: amcauley@weatherbys.co.uk with details of where you would like your label(s) sent.

Car park labels featuring horses’ names that are not declared will not be valid.
ROA and RCA Car Park labels are not applicable during the Royal Meeting.

A one way system operates around the racecourse between 10.30am and 2.00pm, traffic permitting. Please follow the route indicated by yellow AA temporary event signage. Do not try to arrive via other routes or by using satellite navigation systems as they will not take into account road closures and temporary traffic management arrangements which may add time to your journey.

Disabled Car Parking
Forward parking for disabled badge holders can be arranged in Car Park 2, for owners and trainers with runners. This will need to be arranged in advance, on production of an official disabled parking badge, which is required in addition to the badge sent from us.

By Rail
There is a frequent service to Ascot from both Reading and London Waterloo. The average journey time is 27 minutes from Reading and 46 minutes from Waterloo. The railway station is a 7 minute walk from the racecourse.

Helicopter Facilities
A helicopter landing facility is available close to the Racecourse. This is managed by Helicopter and Aviation Services Ltd. Prior notice is required in advance for landing facilities and insurance indemnity, please contact Helicopters and Aviation Services Ltd on 01427 718800.

Stables Information

We have 175 stables with ample room for lorry and car parking. We provide paper or shavings (we do our best to meet your requirements but your preferred bedding material cannot be guaranteed). The stables are situated in a secure yard away from the road and close to the accommodation.

If you wish to stable your runners overnight or use the hostel for accommodation for your stable staff, we require advance notification (by day before racing). Please fax back the Overnight Stabling and Hostel Accommodation form to 0870 421 4755, available from Holly Mitchell, PA to the Clerk of the Course on 01344 878529 or email: holly.mitchell@ascot.co.uk.

Stables Hostel - Hostel Supervisor – Amanda Sawyer: 01344 878453 / 07713 486905
We have 125 beds in 42 rooms with shared bathrooms and separate male and female corridors. Bedrooms sleep up to three people in single beds. The hostel also has a large dining room, lounge area and a bar. Accommodation must be booked in advance using the Overnight Stabling and Hostel Accommodation form and faxing to 0870 421 4755.

Gallops
Gallops are available between 7am and 8am each morning. Please book in with the Stable Manager before proceeding to the course.

Horseboxes
Horsebox entry to the Stables is next to Car Park 2 from Ascot High Street. Please follow signs to Car Park 2 and then look for the Stables sign on the High Street.
