Previous Badge-holders
An invitation from Her Majesty’s Representative, together with a badge request form will be sent in January. The sale of badges will start from that time and will continue to take place until the day before racing, subject to availability. As in previous years, it will not be possible to purchase a Royal Enclosure badge at the racecourse, on the day, for that day’s racing.
If an invitation is not received at that time it will be possible to either, download one from this page or request one from the Royal Enclosure Office.

First Time Applicants
First time applicants should apply to the Royal Enclosure Office naming those who require admittance. A sponsorship form will then be sent. It will need to be signed by someone who has attended the Royal Enclosure for 4 years (these need not be consecutive).
Junior Badge-holders
Those aged between 17-25 years inclusive will be eligible for a reduced rate Royal Enclosure badge.
Children
Children between the ages of 10-16 years inclusive are welcome to attend the Royal Enclosure on the Friday and Saturday of the Royal Meeting, providing they are accompanied by a Royal Enclosure badge-holder. Children’s badges are free of charge and can be collected on the Friday and Saturday of the Royal Meeting from the Royal Enclosure enquiry offices. It is not necessary to submit a child’s name prior to the Royal Meeting. Girls must wear a dress or skirt, boys a suit or jacket and smart trousers with a tie. Jeans and trainers are not permissible.
Children under the age of 10 are not permitted in the Royal Enclosure.
Overseas Visitors
Overseas visitors not holding a British passport wishing to attend the Royal Meeting should contact their Embassy or High Commission in London as normal.
Refunds
Guaranteed refunds and exchanges will be available on daily badges (but not 5-day badges) provided that the request for the refund is received in writing at the Royal !Enclosure Office by April 2nd 2008.
No refunds or exchanges will be made after April 2nd unless in accordance with Ascot’s abandonment policy as is set out in the Ticketing Terms.
Dress Code

Her Majesty’s Representative wishes to point out that only formal day dress with a hat or substantial fascinator will be acceptable.
Off the shoulder, halter neck, spaghetti straps and dresses with a strap of less than one inch and / or mini skirts are considered unsuitable. Midriffs must be covered and trouser suits must be full length and of matching material and colour.
Gentlemen are required to wear either black or grey morning dress, including a waistcoat, with a top hat.
Overseas visitors are welcome to wear the formal national dress of their country or Service dress.
Girls must wear a dress or skirt, boys a suit or jacket and smart trousers with a tie. Jeans and trainers are not permissible.
Ladies and Gentlemen not complying with the above dress regulations will be asked to leave the Royal Enclosure and relieved of their Royal Enclosure badge.
