For centuries Royal Ascot has been a highlight of the British social calendar, a chance to spend an event like no other with family and friends. Our Fine Dining is the perfect way to see out your day, and there are many different options for you and your party to choose from – whether you would like a restaurant, private box or bespoke experience.

In each case it is a place to come together, to enjoy the finest food designed by award-winning chefs, to discuss the action in between races and hopefully celebrate, in comfort. Fine Dining is altogether one of the best experiences to be had for gatherings large or small at Royal Ascot and one that will stay with you long after the action ends.

Fine Dining in the Grandstand Enclosure

With admission to what is the most prestigious public enclosure, you can take to the lawns and terraces of the Grandstand, enjoying first-rate views of the day’s six races and joining the crowds cheering each winner home.

Ascot transforms entirely for the Royal Meeting, so beyond the racing there’s always plenty to see. Get close to the runners and riders in the pre-parade and parade ring, or take to the Grandstand lawns to watch the Royal Procession arrive. Once the last race of the day is over, there’s a sing-along of traditional British songs on the bandstand lawn. In the Grandstand, you’ll be right there as history unfolds.

Fine Dining in the Royal Enclosure

Originally set aside for the running of the first Gold Cup in 1807, this was a space exclusively reserved for the family, guests and Household of King George III. These illustrious origins mean the Royal Enclosure is widely regarded as the historic heart of Royal Ascot, having long been iconic in its own right.

Its fame is due in large part to the traditional dress code and limited membership policy. To this day membership is by invitation only, with members invited to bring along two guests on the Saturday raceday. Non-members are nevertheless welcome to dine in any of the Royal Enclosure Fine Dining restaurants.

The Royal Enclosure is a beautiful space transformed entirely for the Royal Meeting. Among other things it features idyllic gardens overlooking the pre-parade ring and exclusive access to the viewing balcony on the fourth floor of the Grandstand.
