We wish to advise that press metal (RCA) badges and press pass cards will not be valid for Royal Ascot 2010. All media wishing to attend any day of the five day meeting must obtain accreditation by completing one of the application forms available.
If you attended Royal Ascot in 2009 and were allocated a blue or green badge, you were asked to send in cuttings of your editorial or images respectively. If you have failed to do so, please do not apply as your request for accreditation will be denied.
Filming Requests
Due to the demand on the media facilities during Royal Ascot, applications for filming will only be considered for news and sports broadcasters. In all instances, please email Nick Smith, Head of Communications and International Racing at nick.smith@ascot.co.uk with your request and await feedback from him prior to submitting an application form.
Telephone and WiFi Access
Telephone lines and WiFi will be available in the Media Centre and Press Room, Level 2. Those permitted access will receive them free of charge.
The deadline for all accreditation requests to be submitted is Friday 14th May.
Please note, application does not guarantee accreditation.
All other racedays

RCA metal press badges (and RCA car park labels) are valid for all race meetings in 2010, except Royal Ascot where RCA accreditation is not valid.
If you do not have an RCA press badge and wish to apply for accreditation, please contact Karen Smith, Public Relations Manager by email at pr@ascot.co.uk stating whether you are a journalist, photographer or broadcaster, and include a supporting letter from your editor. If you are a freelance journalist, you must supply a letter from the commissioning editor. Freelance photographers must send proof of to whom they supply photographs.
If you are a photographer and you require access to the track to take photographs, you will need to apply for a photographer’s armband in advance of any meeting and these can be issued on arrival at the course.
