Saturday 10 May: totesport Victoria Cup Day - 2nd Annual Festival of Wine

Racing Summary
The seven furlong totesport Victoria Cup, one of three important events over this distance sponsored by the tote through the season at Ascot, usually has a bearing on the Royal Meeting and is often used as the launch pad to the Royal Hunt Cup. Also on the card is the Listed John Doyle Buckhounds Stakes.

Entertainment Summary
Toast the start to the summer in style with the second Annual Festival of Wine. Over 50 wines to sample; sparkling, white, red and dessert from across the globe from as far afield as Tunisia and Mexico with tasting notes. All these wines compete for the ‘Wine of the Festival’ award voted for by customers.

Customers purchase a £5 participation voucher entitling you to a copy of the tasting notes and to sample five wines of your choice.

There will also be a Jazz band playing on the on the Bandstand throughout the afternoon.
