Racing Summary
The Dubai Duty Free Shergar Cup is Britain's only jockeys' competition, where teams of riders from all over the world compete over six races for the trophy. The teams are Great Britain, Ireland, Europe and Rest of the World – a new format introduced in 2007 and attracting a record crowd.
The day is easy for everyone to follow and on this unique occasion you get the chance to meet the jockeys taking part.
Entertainment Summary

The two hour best of the 80s set will follow a great day of racing action and the party begins at approximately 4.45pm.
The Shergar Cup is the ideal introduction to racing for everyone so we recommend the day for everyone from families to a friends looking for a day out.
Please note that although the day is suitable for families the activities to participate in are limited to the Jockey signing and concert after racing. If children are looking for a day with hands on experience we recommend they become a member of the Colts & Fillies Club and take part in the activities below. Alternatively you may wish to attend the September Festival on the 28th September where children can join in the creative arts and crafts workshop and be part of the recycled sculptures.

Back by popular demand we have the second annual Teddy Bear’s Picnic where the food and entertainment for the Colts & Fillies members are all free of charge. (Pre-booked event) This year the entertainment screeches into action with Tom & Tilly Turnip’s Tomfoolery where mayhem reins as the clowns try to cook. We also have a best dressed teddy competition to round up the event so bring your bears along for Scotty to judge them!
