Marketing Executive
(Maternity Cover – 6 months initially)

We seek a bright, enthusiastic individual to join our marketing department to implement strategies in order to enhance Ascot’s position as the UK’s leading racecourse and one of the highest profile tourism destinations in the south-east of England.

Supporting the Acting Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and co-ordinating all marketing and promotional activity across the racecourse and will provide administrative support for the department.

You will have at least 6 months marketing experience, either agency or client side, and preferably in the leisure sector. Ideally, you will be CIM qualified. We are looking for a confident self-starter with excellent time management, communication and organisational skills. You should be fully conversant with Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Knowledge of horseracing would be a benefit. (Salary £22k per annum, pro-rata).

Senior Operations Manager - Catering
Reporting to the Catering Services Director we are looking for an experienced Senior Operations Manager to manage the operational side of our catering business.

This challenging and demanding role will require a highly motivated business manager with excellent financial acumen and people-management skills.  Leadership and exceptional interpersonal skills are essential for the managing of the day to day operation, whilst communicating with the 10 heads of department on site. This opportunity will be diverse in its demand and requires someone with flair and innovation to continually bring in new ideas to enhance the high standards of service and presentation already in place.

Catering and Hospitality experience is essential.

We are currently recruiting for Bar Tenders & Silver Service Staff to join our first class team. We are looking for bright, passionate people with silver service and bar capabilities to help create the Royal Ascot experience.

These are both fast paced front of house positions, so excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.

You will enjoy working with the public and be able to deal with staff and customers at all levels. You will be available for the majority of the 25 race days dates throughout the year and be local to Ascot, Berkshire.
