We recommend that you arrive at the Racecourse as early as possible to allow plenty of time for your journey and transfer to the enclosures. The car parks open from 9.00am and the Racecourse opens at 10.30am each day. Visitors traveling by car should be aware that the roads around the Racecourse can be congested from 11.00am onwards.

Course crossings from the Coach Park and Heath will close at 1.40pm (Tuesday – Saturday).

A one way system will be in operation around the Racecourse between 10.30am and 2.00pm, on all five days of Royal Ascot, traffic permitting. Drivers are strongly advised to follow the designated routes using AA signage and arrive before midday. Please do not try to arrive via other routes or by using satellite navigation systems as these will not take into account road closures and temporary traffic management arrangements which may add time to your journey.
