The second day of the Christmas Meeting is Ascot's most valuable day of Jumps racing. The featured race is the two-mile £150,000 Ladbroke Handicap Hurdle, the highest profile event of its type outside the Cheltenham Festival.
On a day when hurdlers take centre stage, the Grade 1 Long Walk Hurdle, which is the early season championship for stayers, caps a top-quality programme.
Off the track, the whole family can join in some festive fun at the fairground, meet Father Christmas and join in the carol singing.
Grandstand Admission provides access to the Parade Ring, Pre-Parade Ring and the excellent facilities and viewing areas on the Concourse Level of the Grandstand, with a variety of places to eat, drink and bet.
For enhanced views of the racing, Premier Admission provides exclusive access to the best facilities, on Level 4 of the Grandstand. Along with access to the Grandstand Admission area, Premier Admission racegoers also have exclusive access to lawns in front of the Winning Post on premier racedays.
Children under 18 yrs
There is free entry for under-18s on all racedays when accompanied by an adult. These tickets are issued on the day and there is no need to pre-order. Please note that identification to verify age may be required at the turnstiles.

There are several experiences to choose from. Each offers a truly unique experience at our historic racecourse.
With seated balconies overlooking both the Parade Ring and track, racegoers have unsurpassed views of the action before, during, and after each race. Guests will enjoy a selection of elegant bars and dining options on this private fourth-floor and can also access all of the facilities available to Grandstand customers.

During the Jumps season, which runs from November to April, the dress code at Ascot is more relaxed than during the Flat season.

Ladies should dress as for a smart occasion.
Gentlemen usually wear a jacket with a collared shirt and tie.
Whilst this style of dress is preferred in Premier Admission, during the Jumps season it is not compulsory.
Please note that fancy dress, novelty and branded or promotional clothing is not permitted within Premier Admission.
WHAT TO WEAR: JUMPS SEASON
Whilst we encourage racegoers to wear smart clothing, no formal dress code applies in the Grandstand Admission area during the Jumps season.
Please note that bare chests are not permitted at any time.
Fancy dress is permitted at Ascot Racecourse within the Grandstand Admission area on all days outside Royal Ascot. However, fancy dress will not be permitted if it is liable to cause offence to any other racegoers on religious or sexual grounds.

Welcome Father Christmas in his sleigh into the Parade Ring, while there will be a chance to meet the man himself later in the day.
Meet the Reindeer
There is plenty of festive fun around the racecourse, including a chance to see some Reindeer, while you can also get crafty in Father Christmas's workshop.
A much-loved Ascot tradition. Racegoers are invited to join the annual and truly uplifting sing-along in the Grandstand concourse after the last race.
Children can enjoy free pony rides on the Stewards House Lawn all day from when gates open at 1045
Fun for all the family
There is free face painting and balloon modelling in the Bandstand Restaurant, where children eat for free with a paying adult

Enjoy a free guided venue tour from one of our iconic bowler-hatted stewards including a visit to the Media Centre, Weighing Room and Jockey’s Changing Room. Departing from the Old Paddock Lawns at regular intervals from 1030 until 1200.
